Welcome to the Bayou Board of REALTORS®! This mandatory orientation is designed to help you understand your membership benefits, responsibilities, and resources. You’ll learn how to make the most of your REALTOR® membership through the Bayou Board, the Louisiana REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®. Topics include: Understanding the three-way agreement: NAR®, LR® + BBR® REALTOR® ethics, professional standards, and MLS compliance; Navigating the ROAM MLS system and Supra lockbox tools; Overview of LREC requirements; Member benefits, advocacy, and professional development opportunities; How to stay informed and engaged in your Association. Attendance is required for all new REALTOR® members within 30 days of joining. Completion fulfills your NAR and Bayou Board membership requirement. Time: 2 hours. Location: Bayou Board of REALTORS® Office. Address: 4863 W Park Ave., Houma, LA 70364. Fee: Complimentary for new members. Notes: Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in. Bring your laptop or tablet for interactive MLS demonstrations. Light refreshments are available at the board office.
