Welcome to the Bayou Board of REALTORS®! This mandatory orientation is designed to help you understand your membership benefits, responsibilities, and resources. You’ll learn how to make the most of your REALTOR® membership through the Bayou Board, the Louisiana REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®. Topics include: Understanding the three way agreement: NAR®, LR® + BBR® REALTOR® ethics, professional standards, and MLS compliance Navigating the ROAM MLS system and Supra lockbox tools Overview of LREC requirements Member benefits, advocacy, and professional development opportunities How to stay informed and engaged in your Association Attendance is required for all new REALTOR® members within 30 days of joining. Completion fulfills your NAR and Bayou Board membership requirement. Time: 2 hours Location: Bayou Board of REALTORS® Office Address: 4863 W Park Ave., Houma, LA 70364 Fee: Complimentary for new members Notes: Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in. Bring your laptop or tablet for interactive MLS demonstrations. Light refreshments are available at the board office.
