Description

The high cost of living has left many buyers unable to purchase a home. This course will cover how the surge in prices have created an affordability gap, and explain how having access to Federal and State programs can help close that gap for buyers looking for affordable housing. We’ll look at the rules for applying for these programs, as well as the benefits of alternative solutions like modular homes and clearing titles for blighted property.

Two (2) hours of continuing education credit.

Pricing

Registration is required.  This course is being offered to Bayou Board members for free and to non-members for $20. There is a $50 no-show fee if you do not cancel registration on or before August 14, 2026.
